SC 366 I am nervous today

This card is for today's Sketch challenge over on SCS. I love those challenges. Plus I am stuck at home waiting to find out if I got a job. I am trying to keep my brain super busy so I can quit analyzing what I said and should have said yesterday on my job interview.
On to the deets:
I used a mat stack from DCWV: Garden party I just randomly tore out the first 3 patterns and figured I would go from there. I brike out my new lifestyle nestie type circles cutters. I embossed the long panel with a sizzix A2. I punched out the flowers at the bottom and added the pearls. And the image is Inkadinkadoo, colored with the BG family of copics.

Overall it is a busy layout. But I think I like it. It would be a great birthday card.

IC 315 More and More Sunflowers

For SCS IC 316
What can I say, this website has a whole section devoted to Sunflowers! Made my very sick Christmas eve a bit happier!!!
http://www.urbanloftart.com/zulauf-105359/sunflower-art-print.htm

Main image is After midnight, colored with copics Mounted on scraps and dimensionals. I used Dark orange bling and DP came from the 2006 scrapbook calendar I swore I would use up this year. I cut up a piece to make the circus type tent.
Sunflowers always make me smile.

Another snow day, another card!!!

Well, Its another Snow day! In a way I am glad as I am on massive antibiotics for an ear infection in one ear, and an inverted eardrum with fluid in the other. Everything is really loud and it feels like I am in a fish bowl.
I decided to peruse the multitude of challenges out in the cyber universe and I actually managed to combine quite a few of them .I wanted to make something bright and happy, to kind of take the blah's away. I love hearts and cupcakes. So here you go!!! I used the etsy inspired challenge this week for my colors: HERE
The Paper I used is the Basic Grey blush line. The very cute digi image was a freebie off of a blog I follow, Crafter's digital art center. I printed 3 of these, colored them all and then cut, cut, cut and then pieced it all back together again with dimensionals. There are 3 layers piled up on the image. The image was colored with copics and cut out using Nesties. The paper layout is based on the SC over on SCS, my favorite challenge. I used my new ek punch for the borders. I ran different sections through with my a2 embossers. Used the hearts and Swiss dots. Then finished it up with a red bow thank you bow easy!. Inside card used patterned Dp from Blush and stamps from MFT. Ink was Palette Gauguin and Lautrec!!! Hope you enjoyed the card. It gave me a smile to make and I bet my neighbors will love it.

Iced In!!! Challenge day

We are Iced in Again today! Although I am looking forward to school starting up again, I am enjoying the time at home with my girls!

Ever since my dear friend Anne showed me the blog challenges I am hooked---- And a bit overwhelmed. It seems that at any given moment there are 900 Million challenges to choose from. I managed to combine 5 in this card- and I really Don't see how people fit in more. I did this weeks Sketch from Pricilla's, The flowers from basic Grey, P10 #5 using punches, and DYSU #4 Patterned paper.

The main image came from my friend, It is by treehouse. Lots of paisley and flowers. The ink was all Pallette. I used the Gaugin, Lautrec, and Morisot families. All The paper is Basic Grey, Phoebe line. I put Bazzill flowers behind the main image and massively popped it up with cardboard. Stamped the flowers and colored with copics. I guess I could include this on the copic challenge too. :-P
Finished with a punched panel and brads.
I had fun making this. May go do more..... Take care and stay warm out there!!!

Next Christmas for next year!!!????

Here's the other card I made for Next year!
Image is Penny Black. I love love love Penny Black, I own too many, and don't use them enough.

Again Snowman is colored with copics. Used Nesties reverse scallops for bg. DP is from that Scrapbook calendar again, and added tree brads by paper studio. Plain paper is night of navy SU.

Christmas for Next Year????

Ok, so I am not really overly industrious! I needed some thank you cards for Christmas this year. I made these and liked them so much that I am keeping them for next year! I know selfish, but I plan on making more of them! The first is this one by viva las vegas stamps. I love this image of the frog with his mouth stuck on the pole.

THe DP is paper out of a very very old calendar scrapbook thing I got as a gift in 2007. I am determined to use up this set!

This image is colored with copics, and decorated with brads, it is very simple and effective. I like it.

Scrapbooking again!

WOW, after an almost 3 year hiatus, I am scrapbooking again. Well, I actually got one page done, but I have plans for more. I need to get caught up from 2008 to present. I have my pictures and am ready to go...

For this layout I need to sing the praises of my cricut with SCAL. I absolutely love that program. My wave border, all lettering, and sun images, not to mention the large scallop backgrounds, I got for free online!!! I love scal..... The fish image is IO colored with my copics- my favorite tool!!!!
